I have this habit of spontaneously yelling

See, I have this habit.

Of Spontaneously yelling. It's not the kind of yelling that makes you want to plug your ears, but the kind of random chirps that make you laugh. My friend Sarah laughs at me all the time for it. I drop things - constantly - and when I do, I yell. It's abrupt and comes out of nowhere but it's a yell. Short and sweet, it's a burst of sound.

Not the kind of ahhhhh that your doctor wants to hear or the kind of AHHHHH that you want to scream after you dog just peed on your brand new pair of shoes.

I was on my way home after school when a car (perpendicular to me) decided to try and cross oncoming traffic and join into my lane. I saw him coming with his trailer filled with lawn equipment and thought, "Nah, he'll stop in the middle lane until I pass him. He won't try to hit me."

Half a second goes by and he doesn't stop.

It's like that scene from Dane Cook..

Which if you didn't watch/listen to that.. You need to. Like right now.

Anyways, I actually said "Um Hello," to said truck with attached weed-whackers and edge trimmers in the trailer. I say this to any ridiculous person driving like an idiot.

I ended up slamming on brakes - which is highly dangerous - because the jackass in the truck just drove on his merry way through the middle 'aisle' so to speak, and into my (left) lane and hauled it onto the highway.

I almost died.

Well sort of.

But I screamed. Alot.

And then I cursed at the insufferable man who is undoubtedly going to get that bad karma back thrice fold at some pinnacle moment in his life.
And I shall laugh.

When I got home, I opened my car door and got out of my truck. As I got up, my phone smacked onto the cement (face down) which produced a pronounced 'ah!' from me. It's as if every little scream genuinely scares me.
